Dr. Jennifer Hine


Dr. Jennifer Hine has been working as a licensed physical therapist since 1995. In 1991, she graduated from The George Washington University with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology. She continued her education at The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, where she received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) and a B.S. in Health Sciences.

Her work experience includes one year (1995) at Suburban Hospital in acute care and outpatient physical therapy. In 1996, she began working for Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy (M.O. S. T). She taught injury prevention and first aid to Montgomery Soccer Inc. (MSI) soccer coaches, developed osteoporosis and screening clinics, and provided nutrition/injury prevention for local Marvateen gymnastics. Her specialties include lower extremity biomechanical analysis, orthopedic and sportsmedicine treatments, vestibular rehabilitation, and osteoporosis education with emphasis on fracture and fall prevention. In addition, she became an instructor for the NSPA and coached cross-country and track and field for Georgetown Visitation High School. From 2000-2004, Dr. Hine split her time and worked at The National rehabilitation Hospital as a clinical coordinator, while she helped to develop the “Runner’s Clinic” and managed “The Foot and Ankle Physical Therapy Clinic” at Georgetown University Hospital. In 2005, Dr. Hine re-joined M.O.S.T on a primary basis until 2013. She served as the head physical therapist for the Washington Freedom Women’s Professional soccer team in 2010.

Dr. Hine has taken all of her previous experiences and funneled them into building her own physical therapy clinic, Core Care Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC. In 2015, while practicing and managing her outpatient clinic, she attained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the College of St. Scholastica. Dr. Hine is currently furthering her professional education and seeking a manual therapy certification from The North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

Dr. Hine enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and her pastime activities include running, biking, soccer, Adventure Racing and fencing.

Dr. Nicole Kabia


Dr. Nicole Kabia discovered her passion for physical therapy while pursuing her undergraduate degree at George Mason University in 2002. In 2006, she earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Duke University. From 2006-present day, Dr. Kabia has been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in the Washington DC Metro area.

In 2012, Dr. Kabia successfully completed her fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy. Since then, she has traveled to Kenya and Ethiopia to assist in the training of Physical Therapy students to improve healthcare worldwide. She continues to participate in extensive educational training in her field with focus in pelvic floor health, orthopedics and sport rehab to advocate and assist with the advancement of proper health care for her patients.

Dr. Kabia currently resides in Montgomery County where she loves spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys serving her community, dancing and teaching Zumba and belly dance. Dr. Kabia hopes to continue to use her expertise in physical therapy to impact her community in reaching optimum health.

Sonya Worthy-Okolo, PT


Sonya graduated from University of Maryland - Baltimore in 1992. She began her career at Washington Hospital Center with rotations in ortho/neuro-trauma, cardiac rehabilitation, neurology, and general medicine/surgery. Realizing her growing passion for orthopedics, she transitioned to treating musculoskeletal injuries in outpatient rehabilitation. Progressing her skillset in orthopedics and manual therapy, she quickly became the choice physical therapist of local physicians. Sonya has advanced training with McKenzie, Maitland/Mulligan mobilizations, Myofascial Release and utilizes an eclectic approach to rehabilitation.

Practicing in Anne Arundel County supporting an over 20 physicians facility, Sonya provided treatment in sports medicine, general orthopedics and post-op care, she also expanded her specialty in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation providing care in pelvic floor muscle dysfunction impacting bladder/bowel functions and overall quality of life.

With over 25 years of experience, Sonya maintains her enthusiasm for rehabilitation always addressing the root cause and not just the symptoms. She truly believes in treating the whole person stating, "we are an amazing creation with the mind, soul, and body uniquely designed and intertwined". Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Sonya has an affinity for nature, exploring the outdoors, and loves spending time with family/friends. She loves to travel and has visited eleven countries so far!

Andrea Hochard, PTA

Andrea Hochard

A western Pennsylvania native, Andrea earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2011. With the experience gained as a Exercise Physiologist for Somerset Hospital from 2011 through 2013, this enabled her to strengthen and develop her skill-set in post rehabilitation, post cardiac rehabilitation, as well as strength and conditioning. She then pursued and earned her Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree from Mount Aloysius College in 2015, and with this returned to Somerset Hospital to advance her expertise in both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation. This opportunity allowed Andrea to provide rehabilitative services to multiple populations including orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, sports, and neurological conditions. She then moved from Pennsylvania to Maryland working at Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy (M.O.S.T.) where she continued to participate and gain educational training to stay ahead in the methods and practices of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, as well as sports medicine rehabilitation. Andrea is committed to providing the utmost patient care while working here at CoreCare Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC.


Imber Mendoza

Imber graduated from Rockville High School in 2012, and shortly after he started working in a local internal medicine group office. In 2014, Imber started working as a physical therapy tech and Administration at Core Care. Working at Core Care Physical therapy has helped Imber develop a greater foundation and knowledge base about body awareness, functional limitations, and restoration of body motion. He enjoys working with patients and seeing patients progress everyday.

Blair is a graduate from Hampton University, where she studied and earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2016. Since graduating, she has been working with several different physical therapy clinics within the metropolitan area. Her long term goals are to pursue physical therapy school and to work with athletes. She’s played sports and done activities such as track & field, soccer and dance. In her spare time she likes spending time with her friends and family, working out, listening to music and traveling.

Randall graduated from Washington Adventist University in 2017 with his bachelors in Health and Fitness Management. He is also a certified NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist where he would like to help athletes improve their skills and strength. His goal is to continue growing in the health, fitness, and wellness industry.

Candacee graduated from NOVA – Business Tech Division with a certificate in Business Management. She has worked in the medical field for over 9 years gaining knowledge from every experience, making it her goal to always provide excellent client service and satisfaction.
