Dr. Jennifer Hine
Dr. Jennifer Hine has been working as a licensed physical therapist since 1995. In 1991, she graduated from The George Washington University with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology. She continued her education at The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, where she received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) and a B.S. in Health Sciences.
Her work experience includes one year (1995) at Suburban Hospital in acute care and outpatient physical therapy. In 1996, she began working for Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy (M.O. S. T). She taught injury prevention and first aid to Montgomery Soccer Inc. (MSI) soccer coaches, developed osteoporosis and screening clinics, and provided nutrition/injury prevention for local Marvateen gymnastics. Her specialties include lower extremity biomechanical analysis, orthopedic and sportsmedicine treatments, vestibular rehabilitation, and osteoporosis education with emphasis on fracture and fall prevention. In addition, she became an instructor for the NSPA and coached cross-country and track and field for Georgetown Visitation High School. From 2000-2004, Dr. Hine split her time and worked at The National rehabilitation Hospital as a clinical coordinator, while she helped to develop the “Runner’s Clinic” and managed “The Foot and Ankle Physical Therapy Clinic” at Georgetown University Hospital. In 2005, Dr. Hine re-joined M.O.S.T on a primary basis until 2013. She served as the head physical therapist for the Washington Freedom Women’s Professional soccer team in 2010.
Dr. Hine has taken all of her previous experiences and funneled them into building her own physical therapy clinic, Core Care Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC. In 2015, while practicing and managing her outpatient clinic, she attained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the College of St. Scholastica. Dr. Hine is currently furthering her professional education and seeking a manual therapy certification from The North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).
Dr. Hine enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and her pastime activities include running, biking, soccer, Adventure Racing and fencing.
Kim O’Brien, PT, DPT, an expert in injury prevention and treatment of athletic injuries, has practiced in the outpatient orthopedic setting since 2007. She believes in providing patient centered care with individualized treatment unique to each injury including, but not limited to, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education. Kim received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College, where she was collegiate swimmer. She furthered her education by completing certifications in Pilates for Rehabilitation (2010) and Advanced Functional Trigger Point Dry Needling (2011)
From January 2013—July 2014, Kim co-led the successful opening of and was the director at a new physical therapy clinic location in Madison, Wisconsin. Kim is an accomplished manual therapist with a strong interest in sports medicine. She is a life-long athlete who has been consistently ranked #1 in the nation for her age group for aqua-bike (2011—2014) and who is the Maryland State Champion for time trialing in 2011—2012
Kim has a new appreciation for rehabbing post partum mom’s and injuries related to caring for newborn babies . She has two young children 18 months apart and has successfully come back stronger after two c-sections, which she credits to her Pilates training.
Andrea Hochard, PTA
A western Pennsylvania native, Andrea earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University in 2011. With the experience gained as a Exercise Physiologist for Somerset Hospital from 2011 through 2013, this enabled her to strengthen and develop her skill-set in post rehabilitation, post cardiac rehabilitation, as well as strength and conditioning. She then pursued and earned her Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree from Mount Aloysius College in 2015, and with this returned to Somerset Hospital to advance her expertise in both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation. This opportunity allowed Andrea to provide rehabilitative services to multiple populations including orthopedic, geriatric, pediatric, sports, and neurological conditions. She then moved from Pennsylvania to Maryland working at Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy (M.O.S.T.) where she continued to participate and gain educational training to stay ahead in the methods and practices of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, as well as sports medicine rehabilitation. Andrea is committed to providing the utmost patient care while working here at CoreCare Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC.
Patricia Escobar - LMT
Patricia has a strong passion for soft tissue injuries, rehabilitation and injury prevention. Patricia worked as a chiropractic assistant for 12 years and became a licensed massage therapist in 2015. She specializes in deep tissue, therapeutic and trigger point massage, hot stone and stretch therapy. Patricia is a bilingual native Marylander of Salvadorian parents. Her goal is to help people achieve the best quality of life.
Imber graduated from Rockville High School in 2012, and shortly after he started working in a local internal medicine group office. In 2014, Imber started working as a physical therapy tech and Administration at Core Care. Working at Core Care Physical therapy has helped Imber develop a greater foundation and knowledge base about body awareness, functional limitations, and restoration of body motion. He enjoys working with patients and seeing patients progress everyday.
Jennifer graduated from Seneca Valley HS with a diploma in general studies in 2011. In 2013 Jennifer received her Medical assistant certificate. Shortly after that she started working in an internal medicine office from 2013-2015. In 2015 joined the Core Care physical therapy team. She loves working with all age groups. Her goal is to make sure the patients feel secure in a safe environment but, most importantly providing each patient with great care. In her spare time she loves travelling, and spending time with family.
Blair is a graduate from Hampton University, where she studied and earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology in 2016. Since graduating, she has been working with several different physical therapy clinics within the metropolitan area. Her long term goals are to pursue physical therapy school and to work with athletes. She’s played sports and done activities such as track & field, soccer and dance. In her spare time she likes spending time with her friends and family, working out, listening to music and traveling.
Randall graduated from Washington Adventist University in 2017 with his bachelors in Health and Fitness Management. He is also a certified NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist where he would like to help athletes improve their skills and strength. His goal is to continue growing in the health, fitness, and wellness industry.
Candacee graduated from NOVA – Business Tech Division with a certificate in Business Management. She has worked in the medical field for over 9 years gaining knowledge from every experience, making it her goal to always provide excellent client service and satisfaction.
My name is Gizmo and I am a 6 year old, Pug Brussels Griffon mix. I am a Certified Emotional Support Dog. I have been working at Core Care for three years. I love to greet clients and make them feel better with each session.
