Dr. Jennifer Hine

Dr. Jennifer Hine has been working as a licensed physical therapist since 1995. In 1991, she graduated from The George Washington University with a B.S. degree in Kinesiology. She continued her education at The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, where she received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) and a B.S. in Health Sciences.

Her work experience includes one year (1995) at Suburban Hospital in acute care and outpatient physical therapy. In 1996, she began working for Metro Orthopedics & Sports Therapy (M.O. S. T). She taught injury prevention and first aid to Montgomery Soccer Inc. (MSI) soccer coaches, developed osteoporosis and screening clinics, and provided nutrition/injury prevention for local Marvateen gymnastics. Her specialties include lower extremity biomechanical analysis, orthopedic and sportsmedicine treatments, vestibular rehabilitation, and osteoporosis education with emphasis on fracture and fall prevention. In addition, she became an instructor for the NSPA and coached cross-country and track and field for Georgetown Visitation High School. From 2000-2004, Dr. Hine split her time and worked at The National rehabilitation Hospital as a clinical coordinator, while she helped to develop the “Runner’s Clinic” and managed “The Foot and Ankle Physical Therapy Clinic” at Georgetown University Hospital. In 2005, Dr. Hine re-joined M.O.S.T on a primary basis until 2013. She served as the head physical therapist for the Washington Freedom Women’s Professional soccer team in 2010.

Dr. Hine has taken all of her previous experiences and funneled them into building her own physical therapy clinic, Core Care Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC. In 2015, while practicing and managing her outpatient clinic, she attained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the College of St. Scholastica. Dr. Hine is currently furthering her professional education and seeking a manual therapy certification from The North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

Dr. Hine enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, and her pastime activities include running, biking, soccer, Adventure Racing and fencing.
