Individual Physical Therapy by CoreCare Physical Therapy & Wellness, LLC has a unique approach to patient-centered care. We truly believe that individual treatment can make a tremendous difference in the quality of life and overall outcomes we are able to achieve with our patients. You will receive a full hour of attention from a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your time is valuable and it will not be shared with other patients nor passed on to a tech. You will be seen in a quiet, private treatment room where the attention is on you and your individual needs. We believe that highly skilled manual therapy services from an experienced physical therapist are one of the best tools we have to help you recover from a recent injury or whether you have been in pain for years. We believe in treating the whole person - educating you on lifestyle changes, exercises that you can perform independently at home, communicating efficiently with your doctors and focusing on YOU! Your care is based on the best clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice that is determined by your physical therapist based on your individual needs, not what the insurance companies will pay for. If you are looking for a different approach to your exclusive needs, if you have not had success with traditional physical therapy approaches, if you value your time and money - Individual Physical Therapy is the right choice for you. Please call and ask to speak to a physical therapist, we are happy to take the time to answer any questions you may have before entrusting us with your care.
Dr. Sara Squires

She graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 1997 and completed her Doctoral studies at the University of Southern California in 2001. She completed her Manual Therapy Certification through Orthopedic Manual Seminars in Virginia during her time working at the University of Virginia in 2004. She specializes in temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ/TMD), chronic pain, migraines, headaches, Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, postural orthostatic hypotension (POTS), whiplash and a wide variety of spine related issues. She particularly enjoys treating, who she lovingly refers to as, "the stressed out mom" and women during and after pregnancy to help reduce the strain on their bodies and help them in recovery postpartum. She has elected to work outside of the medical insurance model because it allows her to provide her patients with the optimal attention that their often complicated diagnoses require. She focuses primarily on manually based treatment with exercises to encourage improvement in functional deficits. She also enjoys providing resources for different stress management strategies and lifestyle changes that can help patients live their best life.
